【商品説明】
・播州三木鉋鍛冶、常三郎と利作刃物工房のオリジナル鉋です。
・常三郎鉋の『丹生山鉋』と同じ材質です。

【鋼（燕鋼）の特徴】
・優れた粘りを備え、杉の小口を削っても刃こぼれしにくいのが最大の特長です。
・中堅材から堅木まで幅広く対応し、とりわけ堅木でその真価を発揮します。
・鋭い切れ味と、長く続く切れ味のよさを兼ね備えた鋼です。
・刃付けは中研ぎを十分に行い、やや軟らかめの天然砥石で仕上げることで、持ち味をいっそう引き出せます。

【PRODUCT DETAILS】
・An original Japanese hand plane created in collaboration between Banshu-Miki plane blacksmith Tsunesaburo and Risaku Hamono Kobo.
・The blade is made from the same materials used in Tsunesaburo’s “Tanjosan Kanna” Japanese plane.

【TSUBAME STEEL FEATURES】
・Its greatest feature is its excellent toughness, which helps resist edge chipping even when planing the end grain of Japanese cedar.
・It is suitable for a wide range of woods, from medium-density timber to hardwood, and demonstrates its finest performance particularly on hardwood.
・This steel combines keen cutting performance with excellent, long-lasting edge retention.
・To bring out the steel’s full potential, thoroughly sharpen the blade on a medium-grit stone before finishing it on a slightly softer natural whetstone.
